Letter From Debbie

Hello Everybody;

This was a very special Facelift for me. It is what I had in mind when I began the Facelift series. Trevor is an eleven-year-old boy who had a wish -- he wanted to surprise his mom with a new kitchen.

Trevor has Down Syndrome and he wanted to thank her for being such a great mom, not just to him, but to his older sisters as well.

He was prepared to help in any way he could, and there was no stopping him as he bashed down walls and painted along with the Facelift crew.

We all fell in love with him. Trevor's determination, his spirit and his big smile were contagious.

There wasn't a dry eye in the house when Trevor's mom Kerry arrived home.

We were all so overwhelmed by Kerry's shock and delight at what her son had organized that it was difficult to end the show.

This loving family has a new kitchen and refreshed living and dining room too. I hope we made some special memories for Trevor -- he certainly did for us.

Letter From Trevor's Mom

Dear Debbie and the Facelift Team;

It is now 10.30 Sunday night. For the last three hours I have been wandering around my new home reveling in stunned amazement! Mere words cannot express my gratitude to you and the amazing group of workers who transformed my dreams into reality.

Your kindness to my family will live on not only in our memories but in our new surroundings for a very long time.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
